Meet Caroline Platt
Caroline Platt is Managing Director of Platts Group, a successful third-generation family business based in Wrexham. With more than 50 years of family heritage behind the business, Caroline has helped drive its growth, innovation and expansion into new markets.
Beyond her business, Caroline is Chair of the Wrexham Leadership Alliance and a board director of the Federation of Small Businesses. She is passionate about supporting local businesses, developing future talent and giving back to her community.
A firm believer in stepping outside her comfort zone, Caroline also takes on challenging charity adventures, demonstrating her commitment to personal growth and making a difference to others.
Caroline brings a wealth of experience in business leadership, entrepreneurship and community engagement.
Meet Andy Dunbobbin
Andy Dunbobbin is the Police and Crime Commissioner for North Wales, having first been elected in 2021 and re-elected in 2024.
Originally from Connah’s Quay, Andy has a strong connection to the communities he serves. With a background in technology and local government, he brings a wealth of experience in leadership, public service and community engagement.
As Police and Crime Commissioner, Andy is committed to improving neighbourhood policing, supporting victims of crime and working closely with local businesses and communities to make North Wales a safer place to live and work.
Andy brings a valuable perspective on the relationship between business, community safety and local leadership.
Meet Emma Guy
Emma Guy is an award-winning entrepreneur, business leader and Chief Commercial Officer of Aqueous Digital, the family-run digital marketing agency she founded with her husband, Jonathan, more than a decade ago.
With a passion for helping businesses stand out in an increasingly digital world, Emma has built a successful career around marketing, leadership and commercial growth.
In 2024, Emma was named Gold Winner of Business Woman of the Year in the £1m–£10m turnover category at the National Business Women’s Awards, adding to a growing list of recognition for her work in business and marketing.
But Emma’s experience extends beyond the boardroom. With a background in Traditional Chinese Medicine, she also runs the award-winning wellness practice Acupuncture That Works, giving her a unique perspective on the relationship between business success, personal wellbeing and resilience.
Emma is passionate about inspiring others, particularly women in business, and encouraging people to recognise their own potential.
