Pure Perfection Clinic enjoys patient boost and expansion after lockdown closure

AN AWARD-WINNING skin clinic welcomed new faces after returning from lockdown in style.

Pure Perfection Clinic has experienced a surge in patients since reopening in March and taken on extra staff to meet demand.

The business, based in Rossett – between Wrexham and Chester – also unveiled an innovative thread lift treatment already proving popular with clients, adding to the Dermal Fillers and transformational Morpheus8 machinery launched pre-lockdown.

Owner Sara Cheeney has been busy throughout the pandemic, hosting regular virtual consultations and free tutorials with guidance and advice for anyone suffering skin complaints.

As well as technological advances, the clinic will unveil a new-look website including an online patient and e-commerce portal, and Sara has been in demand as a coach and trainer to clinicians across the country.

An ambassador for the world-famous Hydrafacial aesthetic treatment and UK trainer and key opinion leader for Zo Skin Health, she is delighted to be “back with a bang” after a challenging time for all sectors and says they are aiming to recruit more new employees in the months ahead.

“Like most clinics we had to close immediately, and at several other points over the last 16 months, which was tough for all of us,” said the mum-of-two, from Llangollen.

“But we fought through it and are busier than ever; in fact, as we came close to opening after being closed for months we could hardly keep up with the bookings, it’s been manic.

“As a result, we’ve taken on three new members of staff and may need to add more if things continue like this, but of course the safety of our customers comes first and adhering to the Covid rules and restrictions.”

Nominated for Clinic of the Year at the Safety in Beauty Diamond Awards this December, Pure Perfection has also been listed as one of only six Clinical Centres of Excellence by Maili, whose Swiss-developed hyaluronic acid fillers have been designed to reverse signs of ageing.

“We are absolutely at the top of our game and the ideas and technology put in place during the pandemic mean we are in a strong position moving forward,” said Sara, named Aesthetic Nurse of the Year at the Safety in Beauty Diamond Awards last summer.

“The Coronavirus has seen us implement new ways of working but our passion and commitment to our loyal patients is unwavering. I really must thank them because they have stuck with us through all of this and shown so much support.”

She added: “If anything – after having time to reflect on the business – we will be even better in the years ahead because we, and our clients, don’t take anything for granted.

“Not being able to keep to healthy skin regimes while in lockdown had an impact on mental health, and in turn that showed how vital it is we care for our skin. It was the same during our virtual consultations, people felt self-conscious about their appearance, and it had a negative effect.

“Reopening has been a relief for everyone, but we also know we can adapt and pivot and take things online should we ever need to in the future. Resilience has been key, and I am proud of how the team at Pure Perfection have bounced back after such an unprecedented period in all of our lives.

“Most importantly, we really missed seeing our patients in person because this is a sector where that person-to-person connection is crucial. We are glad to have that back and are more passionate than ever to help people achieve healthy skin, and healthy, happy lives.”
