The North Wales Social Business Expo 2025 Feedback

The North Wales Social Business Expo 2025 (1st July 2025 at Mold Rugby Club) featured 32 exhibiting stands showcasing a wide range of businesses, charities, organisations, and educational institutions including business support from Federation of Small Businesses with both Wrexham and Bangor Universities playing significant parts exhibiting.

Day Highlights included:

• Strong turnout: packed venue with local entrepreneurs, startups, and established businesses mingling throughout the day.

• Collaborative spirit: the mix of virtual novices, seasoned business leaders, and educational reps fostered valuable connections and potential partnerships.

• Organisational success: all 32 stands were claimed extremely quickly after tickets were made public through the wide social media marketing campaign.

• Local engagement: free access encouraged widespread community attendance and participation.

• Inclusivity: whether formal enterprises or solo startups, attendees found a welcoming platform.

• Networking & growth: visitors made meaningful connections—potential collaborations, funding leads, and business advice were shared.

• North Wales Social Co-Director Dave Ledward commented: “What a brilliant day, the effective networking and high value for both exhibitors and visitors all contributed to a fabulous atmosphere. The event, the first of its type in this location, resulted in being a huge success for everyone”.
